For the love of eye, you have to go to the Blue Eye, one of the most spectacular and natural sights located in southwestern of the country, just outside beautiful city of Saranda. My personal suggestion, take a taxi from the city rather than waiting for buses because it’s a 40 KM journey from Saranda. The Blue Eye spring is 50 meter in depth, so while diving remember it’s not a ordinary swimming pool to mess with but water is so inviting that you just cannot resist it. It is called blue eye because it resembles the iris of an eye. One interesting fact about the spring is that at peak times over 80 thousand liter of water surfaces per second. You can move 100 meter downstream of The Blue eye to take the view of Beatrice River. The water here is as crystal clear as one can expect it to be.

One of the most historic Palace of Albania. This is the place where resistance movement started against the Ottoman Empire in early 15th century when ottomans where expanding into balkans sates. If in Berat one must go to the osum canyon, it is one of the most spectacular natural attraction.
