why to watch
Even after 14 years of the end, Friends still the best american sitcom. In 10 years, Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Chandler, Ross and Joey made us laugh, cry, think about life, career and love.
Everyone has their own personality.
Monica: The mother of the group. Rachel: Spoiltand Sensitive. Phoebe: Cute and Crazy (In a Good Way). Chandler: Sarcastic and funny Ross: Nerd Joey: Womanizer.
There never has been a sitcom that truly pictures life among the singles (twenty-something) as good as this show does. It's not just comedy, it presents the episodes in such a way that one can truly identify with the situations they face so the audience has something to talk about in coffee shops too .The humor is universal.

why to watch
Simply put, one of the most brilliant pieces of fiction in history. Not just TV or visual entertainment in general, but any form of artistic creation of fiction.
Breaking Bad is perfect to the point I can get thorough joy and fulfillment by casually gazing into shots throughout an episode. It's gorgeously shot, the performances are stellar, the writing is phenomenally good, the characters are believable but also immensely interesting, the atmosphere, the sounds fit perfectly. Everything in Breaking Bad just couldn't be any better. It offers both, great direct entertainment as well as a much deeper meta-narrative that goes over most people's heads. Breaking Bad sure is cool: Explosions, gun fights, suspense, cool lines, badas moments. But underneath is the story of not a person who is made evil by circumstance, but by his own disposition.
IMBD RATING-9.5/10

why to watch
Chernobyl incident is usually one of the answers when we were asked to write about the man made disasters in exams. Initially I thought it to be a chemical disaster but after watching the series I came to know its all about the nuclear disaster.
Is starts slowly as a fire accident and gears up to the one of the worst disasters in the world. This series beautifully depicts the problems russian scientists faced those days and how they overcome one by one successfully. Also it portrays how the politics played a vital role in that incident and fact that people even today are not aware about the dangers of nuclear explosions.
Most importantly this series portrays how Russian soldiers, miners and others were brave enough to sacrifice their life for their
country.

why to watch
The inspiration for the show came from two real-life geeky computer programmers. However, instead of being limited to computer jargon and concepts only, The Big Bang Theory
includes natural sciences, particularly physics.
This allowed the producers to encompass subjects about literally the entire universe including biology, cosmology, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, history, geography, linguistics and other topics of general knowledge.Even the title soundtrack which begins with Our Whole Universe was in a hot dense state...says a lot about the show's content. The show is a great source of knowledge, information and even inspiration for people of all age groups; and that too in a fun way.
Before this show, I didn't think physics could be fun either.
IMDB RATING-8.1/10

why to watch
The umpteenth reboot of the great fictional detective, Sherlock, made by BBC is a great modern day adaption of the fictional character and his sidekick (Watson).
The series is amazing in showing how Sherlock's brain actually processes data (what I call "Showing the math") and there are several such moments to keep you glued. What helps the show is its stellar cast.
In some parts, the series is too smart for its own good. Especially the episode covering Sherlock's death (and return) allegoried on the actual character's death and return, seem contrived and oversmart. But even so, just for the chemistry between
Cumberbatch (Sherlock) and Freeman (Watson), the show is
immensely watchable.
