If you are a history geek you would have definitely heard about Alexandria
founded by Alexander the great. The name Alexandria is famous among historians
because of the famous library and the light house which was considered one of
the seven wonders of ancient time. The ancient library that was burned by Julius
Ceaser held back humanity by 1000 years. The library was not just an ordinary
library, it consisted of documents from famous Greek mathematicians and was a
research centre of the ancient times. If you ask a historian which historical
moment they mourn the most, the answer will be the day the library of
Alexandria was burnt. Now the library is a disc shaped structure which is an
iconic place to visit.

Pyramids of Giza
You would have already guessed it The Great Pyramids of Giza.
You cannot talk about Egypt without mentioning the iconic pyramids. This
mysterious structure becomes so mind-boggling after one comes know that they
were build around 5000 years ago. This structure shows how advance was the
Egyptian engineering techniques back then. The mystery still continues to this
day that how the pyramids were actually built and why? There are many debates
on this topic; there are some group of people who believes Pyramids were build
by aliens as there are more than a million block and each block weights more
than a ton so they believe that back then it was impossible to build such a
structure by humans without the help of modern technology. Some people believe
it was a temple and some suggest it was just a tomb for pharaohs. From city
centre of Cairo, the pyramids are 18.7 km and to get there you can either take
a cab or a bus.
Abu Simbel
Abu Simbel
Last but not the least Abu Simbel is a temple build by the
Egyptian king Ramses 2 and is located in southern Egypt. The four statues of
the king Ramses in front shows how fascinating the carving skills were back
then. The full temple is a prime example of Egyptian art. The interior is
filled with walls carved with art and symbols that reflects the lifestyle of
